Business Owner's Policy

A package policy combining three main policies; property insurance, business interruption and extra expense insurance, and general liability insurance.

This policy is ideal for small and medium-sized companies. The coverage can be tailored to the specific company’s operation. For example, a construction company, a hotel, or a restaurant may have a slightly different version of the BOP policy with enhanced coverages to fit the business operation.

Business Auto Policy

The policy includes third party liability coverage, physical damage coverage, medical payments coverage, roadside assistance, rental reimbursement, and hired and non-owned vehicles or motor truck cargo coverage.

The policy protects the business and employees from expenses associated with accidents involving vehicle(s) used by the businesses. Auto insurance policies are mandatory in many states. Insurance is available for a fleet or a single business vehicle.

Commercial Property

The policy can cover all-risk of property damage and business interruption including extra expense coverage. It is a policy with much broader terms and may include cover for flood, builders’ risk, earthquake, machinery breakdown, etc.

This policy is suitable for most businesses. It provides financial protection for the physical building, the contents, the loss of business income, extended time element coverage, and other coverage extensions.

Construction Insurance

Builder’s risk or construction all risk insurance protects property under construction, renovation, restoration, or installations, remodeling, including contractor’s equipment.

Banks, construction lenders and stakeholders often require this type of insurance for such projects.

Credit Insurance

Credit or trade credit insurance protects businesses against losses from non-payment of their account receivables and trade debts of their trading partners.

The coverage can include losses due to delayed payment, bankruptcy, insolvency, protracted default, and political risks.

Crime Insurance

Crime coverage may be part of other policies however, a standalone crime policy offering broader cover may be a more suitable insurance for your risk profile.

Cyber Risk Insurance

This policy provides liability coverage for breaches of a business' network security or a failure to protect confidential information.

The coverage can include extensions to cover costs to notify victims of a breach, cost to restore electronic data, or costs associated with responding to the interruption and the restoration of the business.

Flood Insurance

Flood insurance can be included in the commercial property policy but it is usually not included in the homeowners’ or renters' insurance, or the business owners’ policy.
It can be purchased as an add-on coverage or on a standalone basis. We provide Flood Insurance from the private insurance market as well as from the federal government National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

General Liability

This policy provides financial protection against claims and legal actions from third-party liability.

The coverage includes bodily injury and property damage liability, personal and advertising injury liability including cover for medical expenses arising out of a bodily injury on the insured’s premises, and product liability.

Management Liability

The policy provides cover for legal actions brought against businesses and their officers. The insurance can be packaged to combine three policies: Directors and officers insurance (D&O), employment practice liability insurance, and fiduciary liability insurance.

Each of these policies may be purchased separately or customized to include other coverages. E.g. Workplace violence and crime may be added to the fiduciary policy.

Non-Profit Insurance

Even the most well-planned events – Festivals and Concerts, Fundraisers or Sporting Events, Golf Outing or Golf Contests, Tradeshows or Conventions, Anniversaries, Weddings, and Parties, etc. – can all face some unpredictable incidents like, cancellations, vendor no-shows, nonrefundable deposits, damages, cancellations fees, accidents, injuries, illnesses, or unpredictable weather conditions.

Worker's Compensation

This policy protects business owners, their businesses, and employees when employees suffer work-related injuries, illnesses, diseases or accidental deaths. The benefits paid to the injured workers and their dependents covers medical, disability, rehabilitation and death.

Most states require businesses with employees to buy worker's compensation and unemployment insurance. GA & NC states require businesses with at least three employees to buy the policy. Check with your state for compliance.
